Lakeside Bistro Dining: The Terrace Room Restaurant
The 2008 restoration of the hotel was designed by Heatherwick- Hutcheson Design- who took special care to select furnishings and accessories to best enhance the hotel's stunning Mediterranean Art Deco architectural features. The decor includes lush axminster carpeting with vintage geometric fabric and exotic flowers in chestnut, gold, red, and green; walls painted in a rich terra cotta color; wrought iron chandeliers; overstuffed Art Deco furniture covered in jewel tone mohair fabric; Lloyd Loom wicker chairs and cocktail tables and large specimen plants.
