Oakland's Most Enchanting Wedding and Special Event Venue The Terrace Room at The Lake Merritt Hotel is the most enchanting banquet facility in the City of Oakland. The view is a panoramic one which encompasses the blue-green of Lake Merritt and the lush Oakland hills. A special treat for evening events is the Necklace of Lights, which is a chain of lights on ornate Victorian light poles that surround the entire lake.  The Terrace Room at The Lake Merritt Hotel is available for rent for private parties. The room charge for an event is $1,500.00 per event, which serves as a non-refundable deposit to secure your date.  We provide all food & beverages. Our menu features an upscale Californian cuisine is and moderately priced. A variety of menus are available, or our Executive Chef James Dame will gladly create a menu to suit your needs.  Banquet menu prices range from $45.00 and up per person. Wedding packages range $54.00 and up per person. Please note that these prices do not include tax or gratuity.
